About Us

We are simply a husband and wife who chose to trade the noise of the city for something more meaningful.

What we discovered in the mountains was more than fresh air and open space—we found a true sense of community. A place where people still look out for one another, where local artisans take pride in their craft, and where life moves at the pace it was always meant to.

As we embraced mountain living, we naturally gravitated toward a simpler, more intentional way of life. We began cooking more, sharing meals, supporting local charities, and surrounding ourselves with people who create beautiful, handcrafted goods.

Then came the goats.

What began as a small step toward producing our own milk soon evolved into something far greater. We immersed ourselves in learning about goat milk—enjoying it fresh, crafting cheeses, and eventually experimenting with soap-making. At first, it was purely for enjoyment. We created small batches and shared them with friends, neighbors, and members of our community.

Before long, something unexpected happened—people kept coming back.

That was the moment we realized this was more than a hobby. It was something worth building.

And so, Happy Ass Soaps was born—right here on our little piece of mountain life, known as Happy Ass Ranch.

Yes, the name is very real.

Our ranch is often visited by wild donkeys that roam the mountains. They arrive unannounced, make themselves completely at home, and have become part of what makes this place so special. The name simply reflects

our spirit—lighthearted, a little wild, and entirely authentic.

Today, we handcraft our goat milk soaps in small batches using only simple,

natural ingredients. No shortcuts. No unnecessary additives.

Just honest quality you can feel from the very first use.

But this is about more than soap.

It is about community. It is about slowing down. It is about returning to a way

of living where what you create matters—

and who you create it for matters even more.

From our ranch to your home,
we hope to share a small piece of mountain life with you.
